TECS has a variety of Spanish in Spain Programmes, which include many different activities and different learning environments for each individual learner.  You can choose from an individual stay for one week, to spending a whole year with us in a local Spanish family.  TECS caters for children to Adults; and also school groups can join us for a week or longer throughout the academic year to continue their learning from school to here in Spain with TECS.

The programmes included are:

TECS All Year Round Programmes

· Pure Homestay

An experience of a lifetime, where you are hosted in one of our local experienced host families, who have similar aged children or younger, for as long as you want, this experience is fully immersing yourself in the lifestyle and culture of a typical Spanish family, taste the typical Mediterranean diet, live in the ways of a typical Spanish family, talk and interact with family members and new friends and enjoy a wonderful experience.

· Homestay & one to one lessons

This is the same programme as above, although if you are wanting to develop and practice your Spanish in a class situation, you can come to our centre and have a fully qualified and experienced Spanish teacher teach you what you need for the future and during your stay, our teachers are very flexible to every ones individual needs.  You can organize your classes, the number that you wish to have during your stay (minimum of five classes a week) and also we are flexible with the timetable to suit your duration and activities with the host family.

· School Visits

Specifically for school groups, that would like to continue their schools academic Spanish classes to actually bring the school group out to experience Spanish classes in Spain and use what they have learnt and what are learning practically in the culture and environment.  Experience the typical cultural and traditional areas and places, as we are in El Puerto de Santa Maria the south coast of Spain in the province of Cadiz, we are lucky to have many lovely areas of historical and cultural value close by, the school group has an activity programme that can be adapted to personalize the for each school group and includes trips to El Puerto de Santa Maria town, Cadiz by boat, Jerez de la Frontera in coach or train, Sevilla in coach,  and the possibility of many more exciting places. 

The group is accompanied by a Spanish chaperone, who is there to make sure that the group have a fulfilling and exceptional experience with us, by sharing their knowledge of the area and making sure that the group are safe and secure at all times.  The students are lodged in local host Spanish families. · Academic Year, Elite School

This experience is for any student who has been studying Spanish and is able to take a year out of their school and cultural life, and would like to study here in the south of Spain in the province of Cadiz.  We offer our Elite School founded in 1969 to have a full year with complete educational experience.  Our school offers the student a possibility of interacting with students of their own age in a learning environment and in their social life throughout the year.  The student would be hosted in one of our school families or a local family to the school with similar and/or younger aged children in the family.

· Academic Year, State School

As above this is an experience of a lifetime for any student who is wishing to study in the south of Spain, with the difference of in a state school, we have state schools here in the area that we have relations with that have places for foreign students to experience studying in our state schools system.  Again the student would be lodged with a school family or a local family to the school and would have the opportunity to interact and live in a typical Spanish lifestyle, during the school time, in and out of school.

All of the above programmes can be personalized with checking with our coordinator of Spanish In Spain Programmes, we can add in sporting activities, like golf, tennis, water sports, extra Spanish classes, and many more activities…

In all of the below summer programmes TECS offers for any student from the age of 6 – 17 years old to join us in our summer camp and have a wonderful experience, for minimum of 2 weeks to maximum of 2 months, where the student takes part in a summer camp with Spanish students, although can choose where they stay, with the option of on campus or in a local host family.
The students’ day is full of activities and way of life in a camp. They are placed in a leader group which is a group of campers of the same age and same sex. Their leader group has a monitor and teacher in charge of taking care of the group. From the daily routine of waking up in the morning, washing, getting bags ready for the day and then breakfast all with a leader group and mixed with Spanish and foreign campers.
The campers have 3/4 hours of Spanish class during the day with a fully qualified and experienced Native Spanish Teacher, the classes are very interactive and practical to give the student what they need in grammar techniques, but practice the language in a fun and realistic environment. After the students have lunch with their leader group and then go to their next activity projects or arts and craft sessions, where the campers depending on the age, in groups do activities depending on their likes such as make a film production, a dance/drama production to show at the end of the camp, painting and drawing techniques to making arts and craft objects like using clay or shells collected on the beach.
After this activity the campers have sporting activities, where the campers choose before camp which activity they would like to participate in, for example the camper can choose to go off site with professional instructors, as they might like to spend one/two weeks sailing in the afternoons, horse riding or tennis. Or we have the option of multi activities; this is with our trained camp monitors who do different competitions and games with the campers from Uni hockey, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, basketball, rounders, cricket to going to the beach for the afternoon. The next part of the day the campers have time to shower and get ready for dinner and the evening entertainment. The campers dine with their leader group and then prepare for the evening entertainment which is a numerous of activities from Mr Muscle, Casino night, Treasure Hunts, Colour War competitions, Dance Contests, Disco nights, and many more, please for more information have a look at our section on camps to see photos and detailed information. Then bedtime where the campers go back to their rooms or tents, have some time in their tents/ rooms to get ready for bed and then go to sleep.

The specific programmes with their differences:

· Summer Camp “Family Camp, El Puerto de Santa Maria”
The only difference of these programmes is the accommodation: The campers sleep in one of our tents in our camp, which is a very large and comfortable tent, where you are able to stand, they are able to sleep 5 campers comfortably, with a type of lifted bed, from the ground with a mattress and pillow, so that the students are not sleeping on the ground. A Camp monitor would be sleeping close to them. The campers would need to bring a sleeping bag.

· Summer Camp, Residential Lodging “Family Camp, El Puerto de Santa Maria”
The only difference of these programmes is the accommodation: The campers sleep in a room that is an adapted classroom in our Elite School throughout the year, they could sleep either in a bunk bed or normal bed; they would share with up to 6 or 7 other campers. A Camp monitor would be sleeping close to them. Bed sheets are provided although we recommend the camper bring a sleeping bag.

All Year Round Programmes
TECS Offers these programmes as above although for adults staying with us in a local host family and are able to adapt the programme to their needs, by adding in excursions and activities to their wishes.

·Pure Homestay
An adult stay for the duration wanted in a local host family, offered all year round. To enjoy the Spanish culture and traditions in a typical family lifestyle.

·One to One Courses
As above an adult stay with us, although with the option of having one to one Spanish classes with our fully qualified and experienced Spanish Teachers on a flexible basis for times and days of during your stay.

·Intensive Courses
This course is similar to above with the difference of an intensive course, which consists of intensive Spanish classes of the option of 15hours or 20 hours a week of classes.
