Hola, yo soy Liv y soy profesora aquí en TECS, y quería hacer un pequeño vídeo sobre ser profesora aquí.
Tengo dos motivos sobre los que quiero hablar en particular.
El primero: aún es pronto en mi carrera como docente. Tengo experiencia, pero cada día aprendo y eso es algo que TECS hace más fácil. Todos los días me rodeo de profesores que me apoyan, me ayudan y me dan ideas sobre cómo hacer mis clases más divertidas y llamativas, por lo general más interesantes para hacer de aprender una nueva lengua algo que los niños quieran hacer.
Cada dos semanas, cada mes, tenemos reuniones sobre cómo desarrollarnos y mejorar, es verdaderamente como una familia que comparte ideas. He aprendido mucho y mis clases se han vuelto mucho más llamativas e interesantes para los niños, es maravilloso estar en un ambiente tan alentador.
El segundo y gran motivo, que es muy importante para mí, es cómo de accesible es aprender una lengua gracias a TECS. Mi familia y yo tuvimos que trabajar muy duro para tener la posibilidad de aprender una segunda lengua, no era algo que estuviese disponible. Y aun cuando pude aprender una segunda lengua, no fue divertido. Era aburrido y tedioso, y tenía que trabajar muy duro para poder conectar con ello. Pero en TECS es completamente lo contrario. Los niños tienen tantas opciones, vienen a TECS y no se dan cuenta de que están aprendiendo. Se empapan tanto del lenguaje que ojalá yo hubiese tenido esas oportunidades.
Así que esa es la mayor razón por la que TECS me gusta tanto. Ser capaz de darle a los niños el ambiente tan divertido y diverso para aprender una lengua que me gustaría haber tenido. Me dan mucha envidia los niños de TECS.

Hi, my name is Liv and I’m a Teacher here at TECS and I just wanted to make a Little video about being a Teacher here at TECS.
I’ve got two main reasons I want to talk about in particular.
Number one: I’m still quite early in my teaching career. I’ve got experience but every day I’m learning, and that’s something that TECS facilitates. Every day I have teachers who support me, and help me, provide me with ideas on how to make my lessons more fun, engaging. Generally more interesting and make Language learning something kids want to do.
Every two weeks, every month, we have meetings, Development on how we can improve and it’s a real family community of all sharing ideas. And I’ve learned so much and my lessons have become so much more interesting and engaging for the kids, and it’s so wonderful to be in that supportive environment.
But my second big reason, which is one that is really important to me it’s how accessible TECS makes Language learning. So I had to work, me and my family, really hard to be able to learn a second Language. It was not something that was available. And even when I did be able to learn a second language it wasn’t fun. It was boring, it was tedious, and I had to work really hard to be engaged with it. But with TECS that’s completely flipped on its head. The kids have so many options, they come to TECS and they don’t even realize they’re learning. The classes are so fun, in the facilities we can do so much, they don’t realize they’re learning. They’re a just soaking up so much language that I wish I would have had the opportunity to do.
So that’s my main reason why I love TECS so much. Being able to give the kids such a fun and diverse environment to learn language that I wish I’d had as a child. I’m very jealous of all TECS children.
